Food and Weight: An Ongoing Journey

Happy New Year to All!

This will be a relatively short post, with not much foodie goodness.

The roomie and I will be ringing in the New Year with some Martinelli’s Gold Medal Sparkling Cider, with a few raspberries tucked into the bottom of the glass (4 Points Plus for 8 oz. of the cider).

Dinner tonight was just broiled chicken breast (7 Points Plus), a slow-cooker potato casserole (9 Points Plus per serving), some Shanghai choi sauteed in  a little black bean sauce (2 Points Plus), and the remainder of the spaghetti squash (0 Points Plus), and a large coffee with fat-free half & half and Splenda (2 Points Plus).  With my planned dessert — fat-free cottage cheese and raspberries (2 Points Plus) — I will stay within program, using 4 of my weekly points toward dessert.

I wish everyone a healthy, happy, prosperous 2013, with lots of enjoyable stops along the way.  May you always have friends and family to share food, love, and good times with.
